Panther Offshore Gathering Systems, LLC
Panther Offshore Gathering Systems, LLC (POGS) acquires and owns offshore crude oil and unregulated natural gas pipeline facilities. POGS assets consist of:
- Main Pass Oil Gathering Company (MPOG) (MAP) – POGS owns one-third of the ownership interest in the MPOG crude oil pipeline system. MPOG extends eastward approximately 100 total miles from the Louisiana coastline in Plaquemines Parish to gather oil in the Main Pass, Mississippi Canyon, and Viosca Knoll offshore areas. The MPOG mainline is primarily an 18” pipeline capable of transporting more than 150,000 barrels per day. Oil gathered by MPOG is ultimately delivered to the Shell Oil Delta system through a Crimson Pipeline connection with MPOG in Main Pass 69.
- South Pelto System (MAP)– South Pelto is a crude oil gathering system located in the South Pelto Area of offshore Louisiana. The South Pelto pipeline gathers oil production from several producers and small gathering lines in the area and delivers the crude oil to Chevron Pipeline in South Timbalier Block 52 where it is delivered by Chevron to the Fourchon terminal.
- American Panther, LLC (AMPAN) (MAPS)- POGS holds a 40% ownership interest in American Panther, LLC. AMPAN acquired multiple oil and gas pipelines from Chevron located in both the onshore and offshore Texas and Louisiana areas. The Louisiana areas which AMPAN serves include Main Pass, Eugene Island, South Marsh Island, West Delta, Vermillion, Vermillion Bay and the Henry Hub via 30” Henry Gas Gathering System. The Texas areas include Galveston, High Island and the Texas City refining area. The remaining interest in AMPAN is owned by American Midstream (AMID).
